If you're local, "The Leash Connection" may be the perfect way to connect with Becky and get started in an amazing on-leash program. This program is ideal for those who prefer to work without a remote collar, as some dogs respond wonderfully to a combination of leash and food training. With the right leash handling, timing, and reward techniques, many dogs thrive—this method has even worked successfully in countries where e-collars are banned. Plus, if you choose to follow our program using leash guidance instead of a remote collar, we’re happy to offer a discount on the e-learning course!
However, for dogs with high prey drive or those easily distracted by things like wildlife, cars, or other dogs, a remote collar is highly encouraged for safety. It provides that extra layer of control in unpredictable situations, ensuring your dog's well-being.
With professional guidance and proven success, we can help you achieve reliable recall, even with reactive or high-prey-drive dogs. Whatever your dog's needs, we have the tools and expertise to support you.

We cover two popular models of remote training collars in our program: the FOB Educator and the Mini Educator. Both are excellent tools for ensuring clear communication and control, especially for dogs with high prey drive or easily distracted by wildlife, cars, or other dogs.
The online e-learning program includes detailed guidance on how to properly use the remote collar, ensuring you can confidently integrate it into your training routine.
If you’re local, we highly encourage in-person lessons for personalized guidance that directly addresses your dog’s unique needs. These sessions offer a more tailored approach compared to the generalized information available through the e-learning program.

Training starts immediately with the e-learning program, and there are specific exercises we like clients to begin before their first lesson. We aim to see clients within the first couple of weeks after they sign up so you can get the most out of your training experience right from the start.

We completely understand wanting to keep costs down, but unfortunately, cheap brands off amazon that are found isn't a good choice. While it might have high ratings, most of the people buying them aren’t being trained by professionals—they’re often using it strictly for high level punishment, which isn’t effective or humane for modern e-collar training. We are very well educated and accredited to work with modern use of remote collar training to offer you the best for your dog.
I personally would never trust anything cheap electronics-wise on any animal or encourage anyone to use them. Lower-quality collars can be inconsistent, potentially delivering too much or too little stimulation, which can confuse or even harm your dog. They often lack the precision needed for effective training and can have poor battery life or durability issues, leading to failures when you need them most.
Quality brands like E-Collar Technologies and Dogtra are a much better investment and are the professional standard. Not only do they go through rigorous testing to ensure consistent, reliable, and safe stimulation levels, but they also come with excellent warranties and are fully waterproof. These collars are designed for proper training, offering more precise control and better overall results. There is no incentive or mark-up on the collars that I use in my programs. They are just superior.
